The Library

Hello.
I work for a public library in Jacksonville, Florida. I really enjoy my job and working with the public. School has just let out so the children are excited to be out and the teens are happy for a new hang out spot. But that is a good thing. The teens could certainly go to worse places to gather. Other than the noise level, it's no big deal. And it has certainly helped our stats in competition with the other local library branches.
And what is up with that? Competition in the library system. Who can get people to check out more materials? Which branch can get the most email accounts added? Which branch can get the most people to check out using our new self check out machines? It's all really fun actually. Nothing like a little competition to keep you working a little harder.
Thanks for listening.
